Hospital and Rest Home Residential Care

Hokianga Hospital based in Rawene provides a ten bed residential, hospital and rest home level aged care facility. These services are provided under the Aged Residential Care Contract funded by Northland District Health Board and Ministry of Health.

Respite Care

The hospital service also provides respite care in support of families looking after people at home who are living with long-term disabilities, and also for assessment and rehabilitation.
