Social Worker
We have currently a vacancy for a social worker
General Practitioner
We are not currently offering any permanent or locum positions for general practitioners. We do require locum GPs often to cover leave for our GPs and welcome enquiries from GPs interested in short to medium term contracts. Our GP team works in a collegial setting which also encourages rural hospital specialties, research and acts as a teaching campus.
Hauora Hokianga is always open to enquiries about work with our service, including short or long term placements, as available. Locum medical officer positions and nursing positions are often available.
Most positions are advertised externally, and even when there is not a current vacancy in a particular specialty or area of interest, we welcome enquiries about future contracts and placements.
Hauora Hokianga is known as a good employer, with very supportive staff development policies. Hokianga is a "place of returning" and this is often true for our staff.
