In 2025, Whakapapa Te Oranga continues to guide the mahi of Hauora Hokianga, grounding our services in relationships, place, and collective wellbeing. This year’s focus reflects how whakapapa is lived each day through the care we provide, the partnerships we hold, and the responsibility we carry to our community.
Over the past financial year, our teams have delivered services in a complex and evolving health environment while remaining anchored in kaupapa Māori and the values that define Hauora Hokianga. The Trust has prioritised quality improvement, cultural practice, and service responsiveness, while adapting to change and navigating ongoing pressures across the health system.
Looking ahead to 2026, our direction is shaped by Te Tiriti o Waitangi, mātauranga Māori, community voices, and a continued commitment to transparency and accountability.
