Te Rautau Tuatahi
In 2010, the Hokianga community celebrated one hundred years of health services in Hokianga. As part of the celebrations, the Trust published a 256 page history of the Hokianga Health services, Hokianga Health – The First Hundred Years – Te Rautau Tuatahi , written by Christine Williams.
From the introduction… Hokianga Health Health Enterprise Trust is celebrating one hundred years of health services in Hokianga, and the purpose of this book is to record an extraordinary journey over that time. This will not be a definitive history – it is a collection of photographs and memories form over the decades to give a taste and an appreciation of the lives and experiences of those involved with the health services and the community of Hokianga.
