NURSE / CANCER CARE COORDINATOR

Permanent | Full-time

Make a Real Difference for Whānau on a Cancer Journey

We are looking for a compassionate, skilled Nurse / Cancer Care Coordinator to join our team and make a meaningful difference for people with cancer, and their whānau, across the Hokianga.

This is a pivotal, purpose-driven role for someone who brings both clinical confidence and genuine empathy. As the key point of contact, you will walk alongside patients and whānau throughout their cancer care journey—providing advocacy, education, coordination and high-quality, holistic, culturally responsive care. You will help ensure that no one walks this journey alone.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with a current NZ Annual Practicing Certificate and at least three years’ post-registration experience, ideally within cancer care. You will be an exceptional communicator, able to navigate complex and emotionally charged situations with sensitivity and strength. You will naturally build trust, form strong relationships, and confidently advocate for the needs of patients and whānau.

A full, clean driver’s licence is a must along with the ability to pass a police background check.
