Kōrari 

Ko te Kōrari tētahi o ngā rākau tuakana o te ngahere.

Ka taea te raranga i ngā rau o te kōrari. Ko te whāriki, ko te kākahu, ko te kete, ko te ipu ētahi o ngā taonga ka taea te hanga mā te kōrari 

Ka whakamahia te hūpē hei rongoā mō te kiri kua pakaru, kua wera hoki.  

Kōrari (Phormium tenax) is also known as harakeke.

Rongoā from kōrari is used for healing cuts, and soothing dry skin and burns.

It is also used in cooking and fishing, and its flowers provide sweet nectar for both birds and people.
